hello everyone!
I can't believe it's been many months since I started this blog!
We are back in central KY--got here two days after Christmas--was gorgous weather then----NOT NOW!!! We have had 6 and 9 degree temps at nite---wicked weather in an old drafty rv! It's affordable to live in it tho, compared to renting some home or mobilehome somewhere--we are now living off $600 a month unemp. and my gosh is it hard! I have it budgeted rite down to the nitty gritty, but forgot birdseed for all the birdies outside our rig, and who knows what else I forgot!!! We are soo spoiled to make lots more up in MI, but my terry isn't in good shape to work such hard labor as on the well business anymore---we are both looking forward to his retireing next yr at age 62, Lord willing.
Our car has been broke down for over 3 weeks now--I am really discouraged about it, but try not to voice that to terry---he's already got enuf on his plate trying to figure out what ails the car. I am hoping we don't have to get another vehicle whenever we see our tax refund this year. We are waiting on one more form, then can file online and hopefully get it quickly.
The rig sure has been rocking and rollin' tonite!!! There have been some wicked winds all day long, but warmer temps if you could feel them thru the rain pelting down all day! Gosh, seems all I am thinking of writing is negatives---could it be that's mainly our life this winter so far???? It could be much worse, we could still be in MI---tons of snow, and trying to stay warm in our rig up there!!! Heck, it would have taken all our monies to keep the rig in propane with those bitter temps!!!
I should be working on my book that I started like 5-7 yrs. back about how to be rv'ers with very little money---Lord knows we sure should know that one by now haha.
My sis, chris, has been ill for 3 weeks with a 3-4 week virus up north, around Baldwin. I sure am praying she gets better really soon---I can't even imagine nausea 24/7 for 19 days now!!! NO WAY!!! Life could always be worse, no matter how rough it gets!!!
I love to listen to the radio swap shops each morning -- don't ask em why---we have no money to buy anything but necessities with---but they have all kinds of stuff for sale/trade/giveaway. Anyway a lady was on there asking for help for an elderly gentlement who was down on his luck--I was wishing we could have have helped him,but we're barely able to "help ourselves" at this point.
We bought land, recreational land, in Metcalfe Co. a yr. ago April---so far, we've driven by it one time when roaming with Brenda---we have no money to work on the hunter's cabin at this point--maybe when tax refund comes.
We called and wished terry's daughter a happy birthday yesterday---they are all sick at their home, and our senior
grand-daughter moved out---my gosh---ya just never know what's happening sometimes!!! She's a gorgous girl, and beautiful inside with love for God---she will come back and I hope real soon!!! That ole devil will use anything he can to pull us away from any intimacy with our wonderful God!!!
Well, it's bedtime--way past and it's chilly in here, so know it
will be warmer under the covers. Signing off for tonite in blustery, windy, central KY. Nite everyone!!! Annie
